The MULTI-LINGUAL GLOSSARY OF LEGAL AND INTERNAL SECURITY TERMS incorporates 51 languages spoken in 73% of the world and offers as a flexible tool to facilitate the international police and judicial cooperation.

Professionals in any country, whose official language is represented in the Glossary, should be able to use it easily because of its intuitive format and structured content.

Aim

The aim of the Glossary is to provide a useful and flexible tool for members of Ministries of Justice, Law Enforcement Agencies, National Intelligence Services, Penal Institutions, and Overseas Police Liaison Officers both in facilitating understanding and in translating documents.

Objectives

To enable better understanding of the various philosophies and methodologies in use dealing with legal and security issues.

To enable consistent translation of legal, internal security and penal documents.

To complement existing databases of legal and internal security terms.

To provide automated translation.
